This is a long toptube. Perfect for tall riders.
Perfect for riders that are between 5'10" to 6'2"

This is a long chain stay. Longer Chain-stays give you more control when doing manuals and bunny hops.

Steep head tube angles make the bike "snappy" meaning more responsive to fast turns.
A less steep head tube gives you more control.

Fly made a really good bike for a little over $500. For $550 you can get a bike with everything that you need. This is a great price for the value.
The proton is a high-quality BMX bike. There is not much on here that would be considered low quality. Here is what's killer on the bike.
Double Wall Rims. Double wall rims hold up to bigger tricks in the park and the streets.
Good 3pc. Cranks. 48 spline 3pc cranks are the best option possible.
The price is right. For $550 you get great quality. Not many bikes are able to provide this level of value for this price. It's great.
I think it is crazy that they include 4 pegs on this bike, but no hub guards. Buying a set of hub guards for the Proton would cost around $80 depending on which ones you get.
If you love street and you need a bmx bike that will hold up to solid riding.. this is a perfect bike for you. The proton is designed to make street riding easy. The specs are perfect, and the quality is outstanding.
This bike is great for riders between 5' 8" to 6' 2"
This bike has crazy quality and I think it will last most mid-level riders a while. Probably two years.
Really good bike and a really good price. Fly makes good stuff.
