The Electron is Fly's mid-range bike for all kind of riding at an affordable price without sacrificing the quality that everybody expects. Fly used high end features like a 1-piece Chromoly steerer tube forks and the Trebol Bueno cranks without the weak pinch clamp design. The Electron also comes with the Trebol 2.35” tyres, Electron Tripod seat, Ruben signature Graphite pedals and Devon grips this year to help create one sweet ride at an affordable price.

A: Top Tube Length: 20.5" - Learn what size is right for you here.
This is a small toptube.
Perfect for riders that are between 5' to 5'6"
B: Chain Stay Length: 13.2”
This is a longer chain stay designed to give you more control when flowing parks and trails.
C: Head Tube Angle: 75° - Learn About Head Tube Angles Here
Steep head tube angles make the bike "snappy" meaning more responsive to fast turns.
A less steep head tube gives you more control.
D: Seat Tube Angle: 71°
E: Bottom Bracket Height: 11.75"
F: Stand over height: 9"
This is a taller standover.
A tall standover gives you more stability and will make bars, and t-bogs easier.
Way Over Priced. Even though it has double wall rimes, the single chromoly downtube doesn't make it worth $500 in my opinion. All around, this is a good bike. I just wish that it had a full chromoly frame for this price.
Sadly I think the quality is lacking. The most important part (frame) has a weaker version of metal built into it. That makes me sad.
Even though it is way over priced. It still is a really good beginner bike. The compact frame and the small quality upgrades like the cranks and forks make it decent for a beginner. Just not for $500
From everything that I can tell.. This bike is way over priced. In my opinion this is a $300-$400 dollar bike. It has double wall rims but not a full chromoly frame. They skipped out on the after market parts like the Proton and Orion had.
I would love the bike if it was $350. I'm sure that's unreasonable and fly needs to make money. But compared to other complete bikes, the Electron is over priced. Only get this bike if you are at a beginner level and you have a lot of money.
This bike is great for riders between 5' to 5' 6"
For a beginner rider it should last around a year.
It's a good bike at a high price.
The Fly Electron weighs about 24.9lbs
