This is a short toptube.
Perfect for riders that are between 4'10" to 5'4"
This is a long stay designed to give more control on the bike.
Steep head tube angles make the bike "snappy" meaning more responsive to fast turns.
A less steep head tube gives you more control.
This is a medium standover.
A tall standover gives you more stability and will make bars, and t-bogs easier.
Right now, kink has this bike listed for less than $300. That really affordable. The $289 price point makes it one of the cheapest bmx bikes available I'd recommend this for anyone who is looking for a cheap first bike.
Like many low-quality bikes, the 2021 Curb will not last a mid-level rider very long. It really is just for beginners who want to start learning bmx and just wnat to see if they like the sport.
The low price point is great because it will get a lot of new riders into bmx. I love these low priced bikes because the open the door to people who would not be riding bmx if bikes this price didn't exist.
I like how unexpensive this bike is. However, low quality like this scares me. I remember getting on a bike like this when I first started. I broke it along with my face after a few years.
Over the next few weeks, I will be posting all of Kink's 2021 line. The Curb is a really affordable bike with lower quality. It will not last you forever, but it is really good as a first bike. The geometry is set up to help a new rider earn the basic tricks.
This bike is great for riders between 4' 10" to 5'4"
For a quick progressing beginner, this bike will last around a year.
Good for beginner riders.
