Designed for riders who are 5'6" to 6' 3"
This is a longer chain stay. It gives you a more stable and controlled feel.
Steep head tube angles make the bike "snappy" meaning more responsive to fast turns.
A less steep head tube gives you more control.
The seat tube angle can adjust how the top tube feels by making it more or less steep. Most are this angle, it doesn't change very often.
The bottom bracket height adjusts how low or high your feet are off the ground. Most completes will be this height.
This is a tall standover.
A tall stand over allows you to pinch more of the seat for bars and t-bogs.
The Trio is a low priced bike. Coming in at $379.99 it is priced very similar to the Kink Curb. I like that the bike is so cheap because it will help more people get into the sport.
A beginner level bike will have beginner level quality. This includes single wall rims, low-quality hi-tensile steel, loose ball bearings, and more.
However, this isn't always a bad thing. If you are a brand new rider, you will want to be able to get a new bmx bike for relatively cheap. By making the bike out of lower quality parts, it becomes really affordable.
The XL version of the Trio is still for beginners, but it's for taller beginners. The lower quality parts will break once you start crashing and progressing more. If you think that you need something stronger check out some mid-level bikes.
